Day before Florence Marathon

Sitting in my B&B room resting post-pasta lunch and reflecting on recent weeks training and the fall that really hurt as you can see from the picture below. Apart my face (several stitches & sutures) I only had slight grazing on one hand & on knee : This did upset the last 3 weeks of training.

I hope all goes well tomorrow but it will be cold – apparently around 3 degrees at the start.
