London Marathon – Finished

April 21, 2013

While not actually a hot day the sun was strong which was great for the spectators of whom there many. Unfortunately I don’t do well in strong sun and had to slow right down in the second half of the race. So my time of 3 hours 43 Minutes was a disappointment to me.
Lets hope Edinburgh Marathon has a cloudy cold but windless day…..

    Well done on finishing John. 24 seconds quicker than last year – I shan’t comment on your consistency! I’ve got my fingers crossed for Edinburgh being cooler for you

      Thanks James – Really hoping for a cloudy cold (<10 degrees) windless day in Edinburgh. It may be Scotland but being May its not going to happen is it ?
